The George Whitefield Program is conducting its annual training the week of June 17 – 21, 2019. The training is designed to provide a foundation of fruitful practical tools to facilitate your perseverance in the work of an evangelist.

To apply contact Bill Adams at either: or 866-646-5683 #1 and then complete the registration page noting whether you are participating in Track #1 or #2.

There are two tracks:

#1: this is required for men who are joining the GWP or men who want to learn the fundamentals of evangelistic life.  These topics are covered: ministry partner development [fundraising]; the role of the evangelist in the Lord’s redemptive work; and spiritual disciplines.

Again, the training is for men who believe they are called to or are considering the work of evangelism full-time. This is not training in evangelism, that training is conducted through Sports Fan Outreach events, rather this is training for the administrative and personal aspects of ministry.

To register to attend click on this link and when asked for the event you are attending type “George Whitefield Program – Training ’19”: Register.

#2: is for GWP evangelists who are already in the program and men whether they are a pastor, evangelist, teacher, seminary student or layman, who want to learn the mechanics of preaching often called homiletics.  You will have opportunities to have your sermons critiqued.

To register for the homiletics training visit this page and enter “George Whitefield Program – Homiletics ’19” when asked for the event you are attending: Register.

Made several dedications after worldly sorrow but not true change of heart. Yet even in my false conversion and learning on works righteousness had a passion for studying and teaching God’s word.

In 2003, the Lord through his mercy brought Heath to repentance in faith through Jesus Christ and lit a fire for evangelism as well as continuing to use his gift of teaching for the Lord.

Heath has a passion to teach and preach the word of God through various means as an evangelist, Sunday school teacher, small group leader, itinerant preacher.

Heath is a lifelong learner having studied with Liberty home Bible institute, and currently in the process of completing a certificate in Biblical Counseling through Biblical Counseling Institute under the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Since 2017, Heath has been a participant an ardent supporter of the Simeon Trust Workshops on Bible Expositions. He has a passion for and encouraging others to commit to expository preaching, which has transformed his open air and pulpit preaching.
