Why men don't go full-time?

Every step we take towards full-time evangelism leads us to a more intimate relationship with the Lord and in turn, we reap the rewards by receiving love, joy, hope, patience and kindness. Preaching full-time rather than just at the weekends, helps us to get to know the Lord better and helps those that hear you preach the Gospel to know the Lord better too. There are so many wonderful benefits to becoming a full time evangelist, the fellowship, the experience of ministering to the people and the closeness you will feel to the Lord as you preach. Full-time evangelism makes dealing with resistance you face much easier. Today in America, it can be seen that the stature of a man's wealth seems far more important than the stature of a man's righteousness. Once in that trap of earning money and being dazzled by the material things it can buy you, it's hard to keep faith, stand back and look at where life is taking you. Becoming a full time evangelist can be a daunting prospect when faced with the problem of how to earn money whilst preaching the Gospel. The answer lies in fundraising. The GWP is designed to create a daily, consistent and dependable ministry in an area vs. a sporadic, inconsistent, undependable ministry. What this means is that a GWP evangelist commits to preach daily in consistent locations so the Word can saturate more completely a group of people. A location is a college campus, a sports venue, a local park or a downtown area. In each of these areas there should be a consistent group of people or events that attract people. The GWP evangelist would be at each location on a consistent basis to saturate the hearers with the Word and to be available to minister to the people personally. The opposite perspective for an evangelist is to wake up every day, decide where or if to go and for what length of time. This sporadic, inconsistent and undependable strategy doesn’t saturate an area with the Gospel, prohibits personal ministry and ultimately limits the depth of the work of the Word in an area. The more consistent work of the GWP evangelist leads to a more in-depth and penetrating ministry of the Word. So again, the GWP Program is designed for the evangelist to have a daily, consistent and dependable ministry in an area to saturate it with the Gospel, to be available for personal ministry and for the Word to penetrate it deeply with the possibility of bringing a transformation of the area.

London is perhaps the best city in the western world to preach. The population of 8+ million travel by the “Tube” or underground transportation. That means there is tremendous foot traffic throughout the city. Plus the population is from ‘all over the world’ due to the British Empire’s existence. That means souls from everywhere can hear the Gospel. There’s probably 100 good locations to preach in the city. Beginning with Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus to Wimbledon and Kings Cross there’s tremendous opportunity. Are you ready to preach the Gospel full-time in London?
